Abstract

Pada Pilgub Jawa Timur putaran kedua yang lalu NU menjadi daya tarik tersendiri, terutama bagi pihak-pihak yang berkepentingan pada Pilgub Jawa Timur putaran kedua yang lalu. Hal ini dikarenakan pengaruh yang sangat kuat dari organisasi Islam tersebut di Jawa Timur khususnya di Surabaya. Oleh karena itu Penulis tertarik untuk meneliti afiliasi warga NU Surabaya pada Pilgub Jawa Timur putaran kedua yang lalu. Tujuannya adalah untuk mendeskripsikan afiliasi warga NU Surabaya pada Pilgub Jawa Timur putaran kedua yang lalu, serta latar belakang dibalik afiliasi tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan teori Patronase politik, Perilaku politik, dan Perilaku memilih. selain itu penulis juga menggunakan beberapa konsep yaitu : Afiliasi politik, Pilgub Jawa Timur putaran kedua, Warga NU Surabaya, Kelompok kepentingan, dan Budaya politik. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif. Kecenderungan Afiliasi Warga NU Surabaya pada Pilgub Jawa Timur putaran kedua yang lalu dapat dibedakan menjadi dua, yaitu: Pertama, kepada dua pasangan calon yang maju ke Pilgub putaran kedua. Kedua, tidak memilih atau golput. terutama pasca pecahnya PKB, hal ini tentunya membuat afiliasi warga NU khususnya di Surabaya menjadi terfragmentasi. Berbagai hal yang mempengaruhi afiliasi warga NU Surabaya antara lain adalah, faktor patronase politik, faktor sosial ekonomi, faktor karakter sosial seperti jenis kelamin, faktor konflik internal dalam tubuh PKB, dan faktor latar belakang NU serta figur yang melekat pada kedua pasangan yang maju ke putaran kedua. Faktor-faktor inilah yang menjadi faktor penentu dan menentukan afiliasi pilihan warga NU pada Pilgub Jawa Timur putaran kedua yang lalu. Meskipun latar belakang NU para calon Gubernur maupun Wakil Gubernur menjadi salah satu faktor penentu, tetapi hal tersebut bukan menjadi faktor dominan afiliasi warga NU Surabaya pada Pilgub Jatim putaran kedua yang lalu. Type of research used is Descriptive.
