Abstract

Setiap pemilihan kepala daerah (Pemilukada) selalu terdapat persaingan dalam memperoleh maupun mempertahankan kursi nomor satu di suatu pemerintahan daerah. Hal ini juga menjadi fenomena menarik di Kabupaten Kediri, dimana dua istri bupati lama saling bersaing untuk menggatikan posisi suaminya. Persaingan yang selalu terkait dengan ketidakadilan suami terhadap istri, yang berawal dari permasalahan keluarga (domestik) kemudian terbawa keluar keluarga (publik), menjadikan kedua istri melakukan persaingan dalam pemilukada Kabupaten Kediri 2010. Terlebih dengan adanya keberpihakan suami yang secara eksplisit memberikan dukungan kepada dr. Hj. Haryanti sebagai istri pertama, membuat Hj. Nurlaila, BSc sebagai istri kedua termotivasi untuk melakukan strategi-strategi untuk dapat bersaing melawan Ir. H. Sutrisno, MM sebagai suami sekaligus bupati yang telah menjabat sebagai bupati Kabupaten Kediri selama dua periode dan istri pertamanya. Faktor internal keluarga, yakni adanya pernikahan siri yang dilakukan suami terhadap kedua perempuan tersebut, mengakibatkan adanya kesakithatian dan perbedaan perlakuan, membawa masingmasing istri melakukan persaingan yang secara implisit terjadi di dalam keluarga tersebut menjadi persaingan public secara eksplisit, yakni persaingan dalam mencalonkan diri menjadi kepala daerah pada Pemilukada Kabupaten Kediri tahun 2010. Namun pada dasarnya, pemilukada Kabupaten Kediri tahun 2010 tidak lebih dari adanya pengaruh elit, yakni suami yang menghegemoni kedua istrinya, yang mana lebih mengutamakan untuk mengamankan dan mempertahankan kekuasaan semata. Sehingga dapat terlihat bahwasannya munculnya istri bupati lama dalam pemilukada Kabupaten Kediri tidak lebih dari by-desain bupati (suami) yang ingin mempertahankan kekuasaan untuk kepentingan pribadinya dan kelompoknya. Translation: Each provincial elections (Election) there is always competition in obtaining or maintaining the number one seat in a local governance. It has also become an interesting phenomenon in the District Kediri, where two old magistrate's wife competing to replace the position her husband. But basically, the election of 2010 Kediri no more than the influence of the elite, namely the hegemony second husband his wife, which is more priority to securing and retain power only. Praise be to Allaah so that it can be seen the emergence of the old magistrate's wife in Kediri regency election not more than by-design of regents (the husband) who wants to retain power for personal interests and his group.
