Abstract
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk menemukan penjelasan mengenai peranan beragam faktor independen yang terangkum dalam Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology yaitu ekspektasi atau dugaan awal atas kinerja, ekspektasi awal atas pengorbanan yang dilakukan, pengaruh lingkungan sosial, dan kondisikondisi yang memfasilitasi terhadap motivasi penggunaan dan penerimaan siswa SMA atas keberadaan sistem katalog online atau OPAC yang selama setahun diterapkan di perpustakaan sekolah mereka. Sebagai tambahan, terdapat pengujian terhadap moderator-moderator (gender, umur, dan pengalaman) yang membentuk motivasi sesuai yang telah dikemukakan dalam model teorinya. Sebuah metode survei dilaksanakan untuk menghimpun data sampel sebanyak 100 siswa dalam lingkungan sekolah SMAN 15 Surabaya dan kemudian dianalisis dengan bantuan teknik partial least square. Ditemukan bahwa faktor-faktor independen memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi penggunaan OPAC walaupun hanya ekspektasi atas kinerja dan ekspektasi atas pengorbanan saja yang terbukti signifikan. Pengujian terhadap moderator-moderator juga menampakkan hasil yang bervariasi dalam peranannya memoderasi keempat faktor independen Translation: This research was conducted in an attempt to determine the role of various independent factors contained within the concept of Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, namely: performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions on SMA (senior high school) student's behavioral intention and acceptance of online catalog, also known as OPAC that has been implemented for year in their school library. In addition, the moderators that included gender, age, and experience, which was mentioned in its theoretical model as having various effects in forming intentions were also tested. A survey method was used to collect sample data from 100 students located at SMAN 15 Surabaya environment and analyzed using the partial least square technique. It was found that every independent factors had positive influence on behavioral intention of OPAC while performance expectancy and effort expectancy was proved to have quite significant effect. The testing of moderators also showing various results in its role in moderating four independent factors.
