Abstract

Teenagers are transitional phase from childhood to adulthood, which in this phase so much interest in sex. They will try to find information about it, including from friends, books, media and the internet. Frequently than those who received information from parents. The existence of cultural “tabu” against talking about sexuality because it is considered as something vulgar will cause teenagers about sex knowledge is incomplete. This is actually misleading because the knowledge that half-half, it encourages sex can not be controlled, which in turn will increase the likelihood of sexual behavior made which can lead to copulation. Formulation of the problem in this research is "whether there is a relationship between knowledge about the dangers of premarital sex with sexual behavior of adolescent in Tanjunganom Senior High School ". The purpose of this study to identify the knowledge about the dangers of premarital sex and level of adolescent sexual behavior in Tanjunganom Senior High School, and then to analyze the relationship of them. This research is a type of observational research that is analytic with cross-sectional approach. Research instrument is questionnaires. Population in this study are grade XI of students in Tanjunganom Senior High School, using proportional stratified Random Sampling technique, with 144 sample. Data analysis with Spearman's rank correlation. The results showed, most respondents knowledge about the dangers of premarital sex in Tanjunganom Senior High School is good, and most sexual behavior of the respondent at level 3. Spearman correlation test results obtained p value > alfa so that H1 accepted which means there is a relationship between knowledge about the dangers of premarital sex with adolescent sexual behavior. The conclusion of this study, the higher level of knowledge is, the lower level of sexual behavior. To improve this knowledge is sexual education should be given to teenagers.
