Abstract
Tooth identification on forensic odontology are based on tooth ability which not making a change on post mortem stage, and not affected by exogen factors, like trauma or burned-out. Pulp contain an amelogenin which have a DNA that can be used on sex identification through PCR methods. There are some factors that affected the accuracy of this methods, there are chimerism, microchimersim, and deletion of Chromosom Y. Purpose: The purpose of this research was to knowing the accuracy of the PCR identification methods of the amelogenin. Methods: Sampels are premolar tooths which sex is already known. Sampel treated with PCR methods and using capillary elektrophoresis to read the results. Results: The results shown a 100% match between sampels and the final results. Conclusion: Sex identification accuracy using amelogenin through PCR methods is 100%
