Abstract

Background. At 2003 have been found new type composite which was nanofiller type. Among others nanofiller which have been widely used. This composite’s excess its compressive strength, and resistance to fracture so that it can be used as an anterior and posterior filling material. This composite has a tooth’s color similar, but unfortunately its color can be changed because a lot of factors. One of the several factors is consume a high concentrated black tea. Purpose. The aim of this study was to know the color changes of composite nanofiller after being immersed in black tea with different concentrated for 24 hours. Method. An experimental labolatory study, 24 samples divided into 4 group. The groups samples received different treatment : nanofiller composite resin as control group (immersed in aquadest) (I) nanofiller composite resin as treatment group (immersed in black tea solution with 0,5 gramme tea powder) (II) nanofiller composite resin as treatment group (immersed in black tea solution with 2 gramme tea powder) (III) ) nanofiller composite resin as treatment group (immersed in black tea solution with 3,5 gramme tea powder). All group immersed for 24 hours. All of the colors’s samples were measured by spectrometer optic and microvolt digital. Datas were analized with One Way ANOVA test. Results. There were significant different of color changes after immersed in solution black tea for 24 hours between different concentrated. Conclusion. The Higher concentrated of black tea solution makes darker color changes of resin composite nanofiller.
