Abstract
Laboratory experimental research has been performed to differ shear strength between glass ionomer-resin modified and resin compomer on the enamel of tooth.
Research was performed on 12 sampels of tooth in the form of cylinders, with inner diameter of 4 mm and height of 8 mm. The sampel were divided into two group, where 6 sampels were bonded with glass ionomer-resin modified and the other 6 were bonded with resin compomer. After 24 hours, shear strength of each sampel was tested with an autograph. Highest force of each sample will be recorded digitally in an autograph.
The result of this research was analyzed statistically with `t' test with degree of significant 0, 05. Statistic experimental of this research proved that glass ionomer-resin modified has greater shear strength than compomer (p<0,05).
