Abstract
1. Interleukin-17 berperan dalam imunopatogenesa pada periodontitis kronis. 2. Interleukin-17 dapat meresorbsi tulang alveolar melalui aktivasi osteoklas dan mendegradasi matriks ekstraseluler jaringan periodontal melalui pelepasan MMP sehingga menyebabkan periodontitis kronis.
