Abstract
The aimed of this study was to know the histopatological changes of domestic chicken liver (Gallus domesticus) infected by Leucocytozoon sabrasezi. 12 domestic chicken (Gallus domesticus) blood smear samples suspect infected by Leucocytozoon sabrasezi were collected, which is 8 of 12 (66.66%) had been positively diagnosed infected by Leucocytozoon sabrasezi base on the appearance of gamatocite stadium. Domestic chicken with infected positive than sacrifice for liver histopatological examination. Result showed that 100% necrotic and inflammation changes were found, which is vary in grade of necrotic including moderate to severe necrotic. Another histopatological changes founded were degeneration, fibrotic, and congestion with frequency respeptively of 87.50%, 25% and 74%.
