Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the seroprevalence of AI H5 virus in ducks (Anas javanicus) and muscovy ducks (Cairina moschata) slaughtered at Legi market, Mojosari Subdistrict of Mojokerto. Totally 300 sera samples were taken within four weeks during March to April 2014. Hemagglutination-Inhibition test was used to determine seropositive result according to the Office International des Epizooties (OIE, 2012) with antibody titer of ≥ 24. The results showed 54 (18 %) samples were seropositive AI H5, which were 51 (22.67 %) samples of ducks and three ( 4 %) samples of muscovy ducks
