Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the effect of banana peel (Musa balbisiana) powder to total cholesterol levels in male broiler. The experimental was done in 20 DOC (Day Old Chick) male broiler strain Cobb 500 that divided into four treatment and it had five replications, they were P0: control or without supplemental of banana peel powder, P1: supplemental 5% of banana peel powder, P2: supplemental 10% of banana peel powder, P3: supplemental 15% of banana peel powder. The treatment performed on day 22 to day 35. Blood sampels were taken from the brachial vein. The results showed that the supplemental of banana peel (Musa balbisiana) powder in male broiler feed with percentage of 5% and 10% decline better than 15%.
