Abstract
Bengal tiger (panther tigristigris) including carnivorsspesies require more protein than other nutrients. That is because protein is an essensial nutrient and associated with the process of animal life. This study was conducted to determine the digestibility value of protein and crude fat in feed nutriens of Bengal tiger (panther tigristigris) in Surabaya zoo. The method used in this research is descriptive method by measuring the value of protein and crude fat digestibility in feed and feces. Based on the research result obtained crude protein digestibility values of Tunggul Bengal tiger is 96.00% and Ragil 97.00%. The value of crude fat digestibility of Bengal tiger Tunggul stump is 92.00% and Ragil 98.00%. Based on the result of this study advice that can be given is to improve the maintenance management in Surabaya zoo with good quantity and quality at least like Bengal tiger Tunggul and Ragil.
