Abstract
The aim of this research was to know about the effect of yellow kepok banana (Musa balbisiana) peel powder as feed supplement on final weight and percentage of broiler carcass. A research used 20 broiler chicken Strain Cobb and it was treated by banana peel powder. The research used Completely Randomized Design method and it was classified into four treatments and five replications. P0 : (control) without banana peel flour, P1 : 5% banana peel flour, P2 : 10% banana peel flour, P3 : 15% banana peel flour. This treatments took as long as to weeks. Data was analyzed by Analysis of Variance (Anova), then it was continue with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test. The result showed that yellow kepok banana peel powder affect (p<0,05) on final weight however it's not affect (p>0,05) on the % of carcass.
