Abstract

This aims study to determine how large numbers service per conception (s/c), conception rate (CR), calving rate (CvR), days open (DO), calving interval (CI) and the fertility status (FS) in the state of achievement program of artificial insemination in dairy cattle artificial insemination results in the highlands and lowlands in the working area KUTT Suka Makmur Grati. the experiment began in September and December 2014. the material used in this research is secondary data recording 100 female dairy cows in upland areas and 100 female dairy cattle in the lowlands in the working area of KUTT Suka Makmur Grati. the method used in this research is the collection of secondary data in the form of data of birth, marriage of data and the data of pregnancy. while the primary data is taken from the feed and the disease had attacked. data were presented in a descriptive analysis. the results based on descriptive analysis obtained S/C, CR, CvR, DO, CI, and FS respectively by 1,93, 31%, 23%, 107.56 days, 436.89 days and 33,50 for dairy cows the plateau and 2,16, 26%, 23%, 105.23 days, 455.49 days, and 31,80 for dairy cows in the lowlands. it is recommended to farmers and inseminator to have to have a record of every livestock reproductive cycle. the importance of knowledge about reproductive cycle for the farmer can keep livestock reproductive success.
