Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the histopathological effects to duck’s liver after had been sprayed by hybrid duck’s disinfectant DDAC at dose of 0.04% with a different treatment. The study was conducted in April to June 2013 in the village of Mojokrapak, District Tembelang, Jombang and at Department of Veterinary Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Airlangga. The study was started divided twentyfour hybrid duck’s ( Anas platyrhynchos domesticus ) 35 days old into four groups ( P0, P1, P2 and P3 ). First group wasn’t sprayed disinfectant (P0), second group (P1) was sprayed by disinfectant for 5 days, third group (P2) was sprayed disinfectant for 10 days and fourth group (P3) was sprayed for 15 days. After that treatment was performed collection livers for histophatological examinations. Then, all data were compared using Kruskal - Wallis and Mann - Whitney analysis methode. Statistical comparisons were performed using SPSS v18.0 for Windows. Therefore, the results showed that disinfectant induced a significantly change in the number of lesions degeneration and necrosis in the liver histopathology
