Abstract

The purposes of this research were to know heminthiasis prevalence, type of worms and infection level also influence of farm management, age, sex, and breed cattle to digestive tract worms infection of beef cattle in Dukuh Jengglong, Subdistrict of Wagir, Malang Regency. Sample of faecal take randomly. The method used was Survey. The number of faecal samples were 50 determind by using natif, sedimentation and float methods. The result indicate that helminthiasis prevalence was 20%. Worm type found were Nematode class, they were Bunostomum trygonocephalum, Oesophagustomum spp., Mecistocirrus digitatus, Trichostrongylus spp. According to the Mc Master method, which found 0-240 egg per gram, the infection level was low. According to the regression trees method, can be concluded that farm management factor, age, sex, and breed cattle has an effect to the helminth infection.
