Abstract
The purpose of this study was to know the potential of multivitamin and electrolyte supplementation on kidney of heat stressed broiler. Twenty broilers with 3 weeks ages were divided into 4 different groups (n=5) and separated into two different chamber (A and B). One group (control=PO) was caged at low temperature (21-23°C) chamber A, while the others (P1; P2; P3) were caged at high temperature (34,5-35°C) chamber B. Group P1 administrated only with water, group P2 and P3 administrated respectively with normal dose (1 gram/ 4 lt water) and double dose (2 gram/ 4 lt water). After seven-teen days of treatment, all broiler were sacrificed for kidney histopathology examination. Collected data for kidney histopathology changes was analysed with Kruskal-wallis test. This study showed that both normal or double dose supplementation of multivitamin and electrolyte is not potential for changes of kidney pathology on heat-stressed broiler.
