Abstract

The aim of this experiment was to know the effect combination of Chlorella and probiotic against increasing to the protein digestibility of the broiler chicken. The experiment used 45 Day Old Chicken (DOC) strain CP 707 with average weight 37 gram. It's Completely Randomized Designed method with factorial (3x3) and has 3 rehearsal of each treatment. There was two main factors. The first factor was Chlorella, it has 3 different factor (0 %, 5 % and 10 %) which mixed on feed. The second one was probiotic, it has 3 different factors (0 ml, 2 ml and 4 ml) which mixed on drinking water. The DOC kept for six weeks. Collecting sample was done day by day at week fifth for a week, then it mixed and analyzed for the protein level by "Analysis Proksimat". The result was analyzed by Analysis of Variance (Anova) and continued by Duncan test when it was significantly difference. The result showed that generally the combination of Chlorella and probiotic was increasing the protein digestibility, and the best result of it was Cc2Pr3 (5 % of Chlorella and 4 ml of probiotic) was 91.23 %.
