Abstract

The purpose at determined to know the effect of electrolyte and multivitamin on meat water holding capacity on broilers with heat stress. Twenty broiler chicken were randomly split on to four group of treatment, where each treatment has five. PO (control group) were placed on room A with room temperature between 21 — 23°C and given water only. P1, P2, P3 group placed on room B with temperature between 34,5 — 35°C, Treatment that given to P1 was water only. For P2 and P3 treated with electrolyte and multivitamin, with dosage 1 gram/4 liter water (P1) and 2 gram/4 liter water (P2). The result shows that water holding capacity on PO (Control group) has least significant difference (P>0,05) from Pl. In the other way P2 and P3 show result that significant differ (P<0,01) on PI and P0. Dosage given to P2 and P3 are not showing any significant difference (P>0,05).
