Abstract
Research had been done to estimate Simmental calves body weight based on body measurements such as chest girth, body length and hump height. The result of this research showed that average of body weight used Schoorl formulas was 251,89 kg, body length-modification formulas was 233,11 kg, regression formulas was 247,20 kg and digital body weight was 247,23 kg. Based on the result, statistic models can used to estimate body weight Simmental calves because statistic models body weight approach to digital body weight than body weight using body length-modification formulas.
