Abstract
This research was aimed to identify prevalence and kind of ectoparasites on pig in Segaran Village, District of Wates, Kediri Regency. This research used proporsionate random sampling 5% for collected sample from pigs. Sample assesment used pinning flies, Permanent mounting without staining and scraping mites method. Assesment result showed that prevalence of ectoparasites on pig in Segaran Village, District of Wates, Kediri Regency of 69.77%. Prevalence and kind of infestation ectoparasites were Sarcoptes scabiei var. suis25.58%, Demodex phylloides 4.65%, Musca domestica 60.47%, Chrysomia saffranea 18.61% and stomoxys calcitrans 41.86%.
