Abstract

This result was aimed to know the effect of adding mangosteen peel (Gracinia mangostana L) infusa to histopathological feature of rat (Rattus norvegicus) induced by aloxan. The treatment K(+) was induced by aloxan and gave glibenclamide, K(-) was not induced by aloxan, P0 was the control treatment, P1; P2; P3; P4; P5; P6 was induced by aloxan and given treatment of infusa mangosteen peel (Gracinia mangostana L) with each concentration 50%, 25%, 12,5%, 6,25%, 3,125%, 1,5625%. The result of this research all concentration infusa mangosteen peel can make the glucose blood is lower than hyperglycemic rats. 1,5625% concentration infusa mangosteen peel can make the blood glucose become lower although not as big as blood glucose level on concentration infusa mangosteen peel 50% and 25%.
