Abstract
The purpose of this research was to know the influence of age on reproductive efficiency and Fertility Status (FS) of dairy cattle in KUD Suka Mulya Kecamatan Wates Kabupaten Kediri through the determination of numbers: Conception Rate (Cr), Service per Conception (S/C), Calving Rate (CR), Days Open (DO), Calving Interval (CI), and Fertility Status (FS). The methods used in this research was a survey. The primary data were taken by interviewing with the farmers, and secondary data writing down from inseminator. The results showed was relatively well with the following results : Conception Rate (Cr) 63%, Services per Conception (S/C) 1.3, Calving Rate (CR) 57%, Days Open (DO) 63.8 days, Calving Interval (CI) 365.5 days, and Fertility Status (FS) 61.7. There was an effect of age on reproductive efficiency, with older dairy cattle had lower reproductive efficiency. Productive life of dairy cattle reached around age 3.5 to 5 years , and decreased at the age of 7 years .
