Abstract

The aims of this research was determine the effect of various doses of Medroxy Progesterone Acetate (MPA) in order to speed the onset of lust at the Ettawa crossbread goat (PE). Intravaginal sponges can be used in large-scale farms to trigger the symptoms of lust. Tweenty one female goats in good health, not pregnant and already give birth at least once had been divided into 3 groups. P1, P2, P3 group Were given intravaginal sponge 60 mg, 65 mg, 70 mg resfectivety. Revocation time on the 14th day after the revocation of lust and then recorded the time observed in hours. The data were analyzed by F test and showed the average of P1,P2, P3 make (48, 1357 ± 0,08 hour), (48,1785 ± 0,07 hour), (48,15 ± 0,09 hour). The results showed that no significant difference between treatments (p > 0.05) there the have effect the onset of lust in the goat.
