Abstract

Early menopause is a menopause which happen on a woman before 40 age and still on reproduction fase that body can't product more estrogen hormone. It makes other effects for woman's health such as osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer, hypertensi, and changes on skin even close the chance for single woman to have hild as the worst effect. The research aimed to analyze factors related to life style that prevents early menopause on woman 29 — 39 ages who lived on Pagerngumbuk's village, Wonoayu's subdistrict, Sidoarjo's district. The type of this research was observational descriptif research by using cross sectional design. Sample of the research were woman 29 — 39 ages who lived on Pagerngumbuk's village, Wonoayu's subdistrict, Sidoarjo district. There were 98 people that was choosen by one stages cluster random sampling technique. To get the relationship between factors related to life style that prevents early menopause on woman 29 — 39 ages who lived on Pagerngumbuk's village, Wonoayu's subdistrict, Sidoarjo's district was used a statistical test of chi square. The research showed that the factors related to life style that prevents early menopause were knowledge about early menopause, education level, status of working, and joined to social organization. But, age wasn't included to the variable. Finally, there was relationship between life style to prevents early menopause with knowledge about early menopause, education level, status of working, and joined to social organization. Therefore is it necessary to give more information about early menopause as early as possible in order to decrease the early menopause risk on woman.
