Abstract

The quality of hospital services is very important to note. Quality aspects can reflect the level of success of a hospital. One indicator of the quality of hospital is incidence of nosocomial infections. The incidence of nosocomial infections in Inpatient Unit of Prof. Dr. Soekandar hospital Mojosari on 2011- 2014 is still not reach the standard of KMK No. 129 2008. To find out the quality of hospitals, is required for performance measurement. This measurement is intended to measure the performance of inpatient unit especially Prof. Dr. Soekandar hospital Mojosari. The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of Inpatient unit on to nosocomial infections insident. This study used analytic observational with cross sectional study. The population is all nurses in Inpatient unit Prof. Dr. Soekandar Hospital Mojosari add up to 143 people. Sampling used purposive sampling technique with 60 respondents of sample. Performance measurement is based on the seven criteria of Malcolm Baldige. The results were obtained aspects of the organization's profile (71.25%), criteria for leadership (71.25%), criteria for strategic planning (73.56%), the criteria focus on customers (75.00%), criteria for measurement, analysis and knowledge management (73.35%), the criteria focus on human resources (74.38%), the criteria focus on operational activities (73.54%), criteria for the results (73.75%). When compared with the value of the maximum points Malcolm Baldrige that in 1000, the highest point value results obtained leadership aspects of (86.76%) of the hospital Prof. Dr. Soekandar Mojosari included in the category of very good assessment (752.97). The incidence of nosocomial infections is high with the results of the performance appraisal inpatient unit were excellent does not affect significantly.
