Abstract
Pregnancy in hypertention is main cause maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. Hypertention of pregnancy is 5 - 10 %. Main problem of Indonesia and other development countries is high mortality of perinatal and delivery labour. In Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Hospital the number of hypertention in pregnancy during three years latest increase. The aims this study are to analyze risk of stress, body weight, parity, physical activity, age, heredity and history of hypertension in 2nd - 3rd trimester of pregnant woman at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Hospital in Mei 2006.
This study uses case control design. The sample are hypertensive 2nd - 3rd trimester pregnant woman. The amount of samples are 30 pregnant woman. This study uses simple random sampling. Dependent variable is pregnancy in hypertention and independent variables are stress, weight, paritas, physical activity, age, heredity and history of hypertention. Logistic regression with OR on CI 95% is used as data analysis.
The result is only two significant variables influencing pregnancy in hypertention. Consisting of heredity factor (OR = 4,503) and paritas (OR = 2,558).
Heredity and parity are uncontrolled risk factors thus hypertention incidents to maternal pregnancy. Inspite of the other risk factors it must be emphasized because approximately 90 – 95 % causes of hypertention remains unknown.
