Abstract
This research compared the power of efficiency of Spearmant rank correlation test and Kendall rank correlation test (r) for correlation analysis of Participation Level and Attainment Level of "posyandu balita" at Puskesmas Banyu Urip, Puskesmas Mojo, Puskesmas Ngagel Rejo, Puskesmas Krembangan Selatan, and Puskesmas Manukan Kulon in November 2006.
The aim of this research was to get more efficient test between Spearmant rank correlation test and Kendall rank correlation test (t) and to follow suggestion from Indrawati who doing similar research for cases of correlation analysis of community knowledge in prevention and eradication of malaria at Kotabaru, Province of South Kalimantan in 2003, expressing the importance of furthermore research about the power of efficiency comparison between Spearmant rank correlation test and Kendall rank correlation test (t) for the samples among 25 up to 50.
This research used secondary data from report of posyandu activity result (SKDN) from Puskesmas Banyu Urip, Puskesmas Mojo, Puskesmas Ngagel Rejo, Puskesmas Krembangan Selatan, and Puskesmas Manukan Kulon in November 2006 which total are 118 cases, then doing simulation to the data so that obtained samples with fold of 12, there are 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, 108, and also the totalize existing samples are 118.
Both of the test indicated that between variable of Participation Level and Attainment Level of "posyandu balita" at Puskesmas Banyu Urip, Puskesmas Mojo, Puskesmas Ngagel Rejo, Puskesmas Krembangan Selatan, and Puskesmas Manukan Kulon was having positive relationship. From the whole of this research, Kendall rank correlation test (z) is more efficient than Spearmant rank correlation test for cases of correlation of Participation Level with Attainment Level of "posyandu balita" at Puskesmas Banyu Urip, Puskesmas Mojo, Puskesmas Ngagel Rejo, Puskesmas Krembangan Selatan, and Puskesmas Manukan Kulon in November 2006. By 100 cases, Spearmant rank correlation test will show correlate which have same significancy level with Kendall rank correlation test (t) reached by 85,13 cases.
