Abstract
Telah dilakukan penelitian aktivitas antifeedant senyawa alkaloid dari ekstrak metanol tanaman permot (Passiflora foetida) terhadap ulat Erionota thrax. Ekstraksi senyawa menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut metanol pada suhu kamar. Ekstrak metanol yang didapatkan selanjutnya dipisahkan menggunakan metode kromatografi. Hasil fraksi yang diperoleh diidentifikasi menggunakan TLC Scanner untuk mengetahui panjang gelombang tiap noda. Berdasarkan hasil TLC Scanner hasil fraksi diduga mengandung senyawa alkaloid golongan indol. Uji antifeedant dilakukan pada konsentrasi pengenceran ekstrak yang berbeda-beda. Hasil uji aktivitas antifeedant menunjukkan ekstrak total alkaloid memiliki aktivitas antifeedant terhadap ulat Erionota thrax.
