Abstract

Communication among teenagers has distinctive characteristics as well as the special characteristics of the phase they experienced. During this social development of teenage period can be seen two significant movements: first, they tend to separate themselves from their parents and second, they try to find the conformity from the peer group. Usually they can not be fully controlled by their parents and outer influences are intently absorbed. Advice, as one of the controlling tools can be very sensitive and annoying for them. Manajemen Qalbu Program is one of important phenomenon in Indonesia. It is proven that it can be accepted by various groups including teenagers. Actually within a single language there are always alternatives to be taken in using the language; whether the degree of language formality, The High or Low Dialect as it mentioned by Ferguson on the problem of Diglossia, or the style of how the language is being presented. The simple words chosen in the language are often used in Manajemen Qalbu language. Instead of using difficult terms for the explanation, Gymnastiar choose to apply the simplified version in daily language.
