Abstract
BAZNAS kabupaten/kota merupakan lembaga zakat pemerintah untuk mengurusi pengelolaan zakat, infaq dan sedekah di daerah. BAZNAS kabupaten/kota di bawah koordinasi BAZNAS Provinsi bertugas mengupayakan pengelolaan zakat yang efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur dan menganalisis efisiensi BAZNAS kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur berdasarkan laporan penerimaan dan penyaluran dana zakat, infaq, dan sedekah yang telah dikumpulkan oleh BAZNAS Provinsi Jawa Timur di tahun 2014. Pengukuran efisiensi BAZNAS kabupaten/kota pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitaif deskriptif dengan metode DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). Hasil efisiensi dengak teknik DEA dalam asumsi CRS menunjukkan bahwa dari total 12 unit BAZNAS kabupaten/kota terdapat 7 BAZNAS kabupaten/kota tergolong efisien. Terdapat 5 BAZNAS kabupaten/kota yang memiliki efisiensi di bawah 100% atau inefisien dalam asumsi CRS (Constant Return to Scale) yaitu Kota Madiun (86,3%), Kabupaten Sumenep (84,3%), Kota Lumajang (68,5%), Kota Malang (57,8%), dan Kabupaten Lamongan
