Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis adanya pengaruh pemberian ekstrak biji jinten hitam terhadap jumlah spermatosit primer pada tikus putih jantan yang dipapar diet tinggi lemak dan STZ. Metode: Rancangan penelitian ini adalah The Randomized Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Total besar sampel 32 ekor Tikus putih jantan (Rattus norvegicus) yang terbagi dalam 4 kelompok secara random. Uji normalitas dengan Kolmogorov Smirnov (α= 0,05) dilakukan pada jumlah spermatosit primer dan uji homogenitas dengan Levene test (α= 0,05). Uji beda antar kelompok dengan Anova one way (α= 0,05), dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Least Significant Different (LSD) (α= 0,05). Uji korelasi dengan Pearson (α= 0,05). Hasil: 1) Terdapat pengaruh pemberian ekstrak biji jinten hitam dosis 1,2 g/Kg BB dan 2,4 g/Kg BB terhadap jumlah sel spermatosit primer, 2) Terdapat korelasi positif yang sangat kuat (p=0,000; C=0,824) antara dosis ekstrak biji jinten hitam dengan jumlah sel spermatosit primer, semakin tinggi dosis ekstrak biji jinten hitam semakin meningkat jumlah sel spermatosit primer. Simpulan: Pemberian ekstrak biji jinten hitam dengan dosis 1,2 g/Kg BB dan 2,4 g/Kg BB dapat meningkatkan jumlah sel spermatosit primer pada tikus putih jantan yang dipapar diet tinggi lemak dan STZ.
