Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh pemberian timbal asetat per oral terhadap jumlah nekrosis sel epitel tubulus ginjal dan kadar MDA darah tikus putih jantan yang diproteksi vitamin E. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah The randomized the post test only control group design.Total besar sampel dari 5 kelompok tikus adalah 50 ekor tikus putih jantan. Variabel perlakuan adalah 1) vitamin E dosis 50, 150, 250 IU/kgBB, dan 2) timbal asetat per oral dosis 50mg/kgBB. Variabel tergantung adalah 1) jumlah nekrosis sel epitel tubulus ginjal, dan 2) kadar MDA darah tikus putih jantan. Data diuji normalitas dengan Saphiro-Wilk (α =0,05) dan uji Levene untuk homogenitas. Uji beda dengan Anova atau Kruskall Wallis (α =0,05) dan dilanjutkan dengan uji LSD atau Mann Whitney (α =0,05).Uji korelasi dengan Regresi linier. (α =0,05). Hasil penelitian ini adalah, 1) Ada pengaruh pemberian timbal asetat terhadap jumlah nekrosis sel epitel tubulus ginjal dan kadar MDA darah tikus putih jantan yang diproteksi dengan vitamin E, 2) Semakin tinggi dosis vitamin E semakin menurun jumlah nekrosis sel epitel tubulus ginjal ( β = - 0,846) dan kadar MDA darah (β = - 0,699) tikus putih jantan yang dipapar timbal asetat. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa 1) pemberian vitamin E dosis 150,dan 250 IU/kgBB dapat mengurangi jumlah nekrosis sel epitel tubulus ginjal dan menurunkans kadar MDA darah (vit E dosis50, 150, 250 IU/kgBB) pada tikus putih jantan yang terpapar timbal asetat.
