Abstract

Patient satisfaction is the level of patient's feeling after comparing the result what they feel to what they hope. BPJS is a govemment program targeted people who live in poverty to get easier access to health care services.Nevertheless, there are many kind of problems on it application such as intricate bureaucracy, long time queue and lack of informations about BPJS administration services. The objective of this study, was to explain the correlation between quality of BPJS administration services with the patient's satisfaction. This research used a cross sectional design. The population was patients who were heated at Petrokimia Hospital Gresik from January to 2 february 2015. A total of 44 patients were recruited by means of systematic non probability sampling. The independent variable was quality of BPJS administration services while the dependent variable was patient satisfaction. Data were collected by using quetionaires and interviewing patients. Data were then analyzed using Spearman Rho with significance level of p<0.05. The result showed that there was a significant correlation between qualityof BPJS administration services and patient's satisfaction with significance value of p: 0.015 and coefficient correlation r = 0,366. It can be concluded that there is a correlation between quality of BPJS administration services with patient's satisfaction. The decision maker should put this findings into perspective that patient's satisfaction is the primary goal of health services especially in BPJS. Further studies should involve nursing services in BPJS program to find the correlation between quality of nursing, services in BPJS program with the patient's satisfaction.
