Abstract
Physical activity is an activity usually done by people. A physiological effect in form of fatigue for lacking of energy supply, glucose, is the effect when doing physical activity. Several physiological respond that happen when fatigue are the increasing of the number of lactic acid in the blood and the decreasing of glucose levels. The increasing of aerobic glycolysis and anaerobic can be measured by the magnitude of the decreasing of glucose levels in the blood and the increasing of lactic acid levels, the indoor temperature is higher than the outdoor temperature during a time of physical activity and high temperature can increase the body. This research aims to compare outdoor and indoor physical activity to the body temperature, lactic acid level, blood glucose level, and fatigue on submaximal physical activity with using a pretest-posttest group design research program. This research uses human sample, that was the students of the Science of Sport Department of Science of Sport Faculty, Makassar State University. The number of subjects used are 20 people aged 21-23 years old. These people were divided into two groups, they are 10 people for outdoor activity group and 10 people for indoor activity group. Outdoor and indoor activity group was given submaximal physical activity in form of pedaling Ergocycle with 85% HRmax. The research data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis, the data of normality test and the data of free sample of t-2 test with significance level 0.05, and using IBM SPSS 20 computerized program. The obtained result show that: the test result of free sample of t-2 variable delta-3 the body temperature was p=0.901 (p>0.05) lactic acid level delta-2 was p=0.000 (p<0.05), delta-1 blood glucose level was p=0.808 (p>0.05), delta-4 muscle strength/fatigue was p=0.000 (p<0.05). There was no significant change of the effect between outdoor and indoor activity group on delta-1 and delta-3, but on delta-2 and delta-4, there was a significant change of the effect between outdoor and indoor activity group. Thus, it can be concluded that: there was an no increase in body temperature right after doing outdoor and indoor activity, there was an increase in lactic acid level 5 minutes after outdoor and indoor activity, there was a no decrease in blood glucose level right after submaximal physical activity for outdoor and indoor activity, there was a decrease of muscle strength/fatigue right after outdoor and indoor activity.
