Abstract

Noise is a natural phenomenon that can make a psychological disturbance, physical disturbance or hearing loss. It is a primary environmental hazard because it is generally defined as unwanted sound at any time and any place. A mixture location, quantity, level of noise and the distance at the same time can cause an optimum sound at optimum location. The problema of this paper is to esstimate the optimum location of noise from three resources. The development method is a difrential dinamic method to find the coordinate of optimum point. With the computer facilities (Turbo Pascal ver 7.0 for DOS or for Win), a mathematic problem can be processed and analyzed easier and faster. Fictitious datas were used for testing the model to find the coordinate of optimum point. Secondary and primary datas were obtained from BTKI. Surabaya, Surabaya map and from experiment in SMF Surabaya and Studio TVRI Surabaya.
