Abstract

The objective of this research was to explain the imunopathobiogenesis of chronic diarrhea in protein energy deficiency alas mus'culus Balb/c infected by Gyptosporidium_ The observed variables were the immunity components of CD4, IgA, PG2, and Hsp70. The measurement was performed using immunohistochemical method with monoclonal antibody against CD4. IgA. PGE2, and Hsp70 to the intestinal mice tissue. Data analysis based on multivariate test of Wilks' Lambda method revealed significant difference (p 0.05) between protein energy deficiency mice groups infected by Cryptosporidiunr and non protein energy deficiency mice groups infected by Cryptosporidiurn. This experiment showed decrease of CD4, IgA, and PGE2 expression and increase of Hsp70 expression in protein energy deficiency mice groups infected by Cryptosporicliirnr. Discriminant analysis with stepwise method showed that Hsp70 and CD4 expression are dominant variables. This research confirmed that CD4, IgA, and PGE2 expression have negative contribution and Hsp70 expression has positive contribution to immunopathobiogenesis chronic diarrhea in protein energy deficiency mice infected by Cryptosporidium.
