Abstract

The moral development of the teenage was not conducted by sosioeconomic level of family but by way of life of the family’s. The study aims at the effect the family’s way of life among peasants and fishermen on the moral development of the teenage. The study was collected by quantitative-qualitative methode with the cross sectional by design. Research conducted at district of Tuban, East Java. Study samples were 33 fishermen’s families and 33 peaseant’s families, with kind of father, mother and teenage which fits the inclusion creation for quantitative methode and 6 families for qualitative methode. The result of the study found factor on moral development of the teenage in the fishermen’s and the peasant’s families are roles of the father with p value = 0,031 and α = 0,05. The suggestions from the study is supposed to be the role of the father is also supported by the role of the mother in order to positively impact by teenage moral development’s for the welfare of the family. Hence affection from a father who disciplened seemed to produce guilt in his teenage. The importance of father’s dominance in promoting moral development in teenage by suggesting that is significant if accompanied by affection
