Abstract

Competence plays an important role in an organization. This relates to the authority of a person in performing their duties in accordance with relevant role with the expertise, knowledge and capabilities. This study aims to identify and develop minimum competency PLKB Field Extension competency development model of family planning based on the vision and mission of the Women's Empowerment and Family Planning District Rote Ndao. This research is descriptive and qualitative data analysis by using a model case study. The results showed that the competence PLKB still minimal and not show superior performance, but good enough in implementing family planning counseling and services. This competency development models provide guidance to assist field officers in understanding how to achieve success in the job.
