Abstract

Imaging plays an important role in the defening of genital anatomy in management of Disorder of Sex Development (DSD). Ultrasound study is the main modality of choice for screening patient with DSD. It also give information of the uterus and the adrenal gland. It can give an information of additional congenital anomaly. MRI is helpful in cases with equivocal Ultrasound. Genitography can also give information in elucidating genital anatomy, but it give no information of the gonad. Management of DSD require a multidisciplinary approach for elucidation, and an imaging information that remains one of the important factors in sex determination, in addition to chromosomal analysis and hormonal investigation
