Abstract

The aim of this study was determined the seroprevalence of Infectious Bronchitis based on the detection of antibody by Indirect Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The blood sample of muscovy ducks were taken from muscovy duck in semi-intensively farmed that had never been vaccinated by Infectious Bronchitis vaccine. Antigen used in Indirect ELISA was Infectious Bronchitis virus serotype Massauchusetts strain H120. As much as 120 muscovy duck blood samples were taken during the slaughter process. Blood samples were taken 4 times, 30 blood samples per week started from June 2014 then the detection of antibody titers by Indirect ELISA in October 2014. The result of this study showed the presence of antibody toward Infectious Bronchitis virus with seroprevalence number were 17 % and the range of antibody titers were 4.309-19.925.
