Elementary school children are susceptible to diseases such as vomiting and diarrhea, so consumption of unhealthy foods would be bad for them. Borax is a source of free radicals, there are typically existing at noodles , meatballs , jireng , tempe and tofu. Antioxidants have the potential to neutralize free radicals. The aim of this study was to analyze the levels of MDA,SOD and Catalase urine levels before and after treatment between control and treatment group This research was a randomized pretest-posttest control group design approach. Elementary school children was exposure snacks that containing borax. Sample, 50 students, 25 students for treatment group and 25 students for control group. Once in two days mangosteen syrup 1 teasooon given to elementary school children after breakfast at 9 am for 30 day The result of the study showed that there were no significant difference MDA urine levels between control and treatment groups at pre-test (o = 0.480) and post- test (o = 0.276). There were significant differences between SOD urine levels be the control group and the treatment group at the end of the study (o = 0.005). there was no significant difference levels of catalase between control and treatment groups whether at pre-test (o=0.637) or post-test (o=0.265). Result of this study sho,wed that the mangosteen syrup could be decrease MDA urine levels in the elementary schoolchildren
