Abstract
The aim of this research is to know and learn better understanding about the parasitic disease on swiftlet especially the lice. this research is descriptive research, and six birds were caught and used as the experimental animals, divided as two group, consists of three adult swiftlets and three hatchling swiftlets, then researcher pick any available lice that gather on the swiftlets body, after the samples were collected, formalin and KOH were used as chemical agent to create a slide preparat, further examination of the lice Genus were matched by microscopic taxonomy and journal comparison observation, The data comparison results showed that the lice belong to Collodennyus family, the exact species is Dennyus cartjonesi that specifly only live on Aerodramus fuchipagus as it’s host.
