Abstract

The purposed of the research is to know the prevalention and toxocariasis infection degree with defference age in Wonosalam Jombang. There are 120 samples of feces from Friesian Holstein (FH) which native, sedimentation, and floathing method. To have know there was a prevalention and infection degree of worm Toxocara vitulorum in FH‟s digestive system in Wonosalam Jombang, data of prevalention was analyzed by chi squere test , then infection degree data calculated with worm‟s egg per gram faces (EPG), then being was continued calculated with F test. The result of difference age of pevelantion toxocariasis infection, there are 4 samples (10%) positive condition of toxocariasis in 0-2 months old, 1 (2,5%) sample positive condition of toxocariasis in 2-4 months old ,and there is no sample which in toxocariasis in 4-6 months old. The toxocariasis infection degree for 0-2 months old was 4.219, for 2-4 months old was 1.066, and for 4-6 months old was 0.707. Between 2-4 months old and 4-6 months old were identificated that there was no significant difference, but between 0-2 months old with 2-4 months old and 4-6 months old identificated that there was a high significant difference (p < 0.01).
