Abstract
The purpose of this study was to know the effect of substituting fermented rice bran and spirulina to feed consumption and laying hen chiken egg production. About 25 laying hen chikens of Gallus domesticus at 38 weeks of age were randomized into five treatments, each treatment consisted of five replications.. The treatment are the levels substitution of fermented rice bran and spirulina to formule feed, they are P0 with fermented rice bran and spirulina 0% while the P1, P2, P3 and P4 containing fermented rice bran and spirulina 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% respectively. The results showed that there was significantly different (p<0.05) to feed consumption and there was not significantly different (p>0.05) to egg production. It can be concluded that the substitution of 10% and 15% fermented rice bran and spirulina cause increase feed consumption and the substitution of fermented rice bran and spirulina until 20% not affect egg production.
