Abstract

The aim of this experiment is to prove that Bintaro leaves can increase mortality rate larva R. sanguineus within 4 hours. This experiment used 250 larva, divided into five treatment groups 0%, 5%, 8%, 12.5%, 20%. Each treatment contained of ten larvas and replicated five times. The result of this experiment showed that Bintaro leaves extract in 0% concentration gave mortality rate 0%, in 5% concentration gave mortality rate 52%, in 8% concentration gave mortality rate 66%, in 12.5% concentration gave mortality rate 68%. Mortality rate reached 100% in concentration 20% extract. ANOVA test was used to count mortality rate. The result of statistical analysis showed that there was significan difference (p<0.05) between treatment and mortality rate of larva. From the statistical analysis, we can conclude that the concentration of bintaro leaves extract has effect toward mortaly rate of larva.
