Abstract

The Ducks are potential fowls such as egg producers. Currently, animal feed materials still mightily of depend on by imports, it is a condition the encouragement of the animal husbandry to find the alternative feed ingredients. The purpose of this studies to know about the effect of the addition of the golden snail flour in the ration to yolk index, white index and haugh unit on Mojosari’s duck eggs which getting additional feed in the form of the golden snail flour by 2%, 4%, 6%. The female duck that is 28 weeks-old that 1490-1500 g / matric cup averages 20 divided into four treatment groups (P0, P1, P2, P3).The experimental design is used in this study is Completely Randomized Design (RAL). This study used 5 ducks in 4 treatments. The treatment lasted for a period from 28 weeks to 32 weeks. The production of duck eggs was done on the 22nd - 28ᵗʰ day as much as 1 point in each repetition so that there were 20 eggs taken each day. The yolk index is an indirect measurement of the yellow round shape and the strength of the yolk membrane. The White index is a high ratio of white egg thick with an average diameter. HU is the height measurement of thick egg white and egg weight.
