Abstract

This research was conducted to found out the influence of the pulp of mahkota dewa’s extract (Phaleria macrocarpa) against the percentage of capacitation and acrosome reaction of male white rat (Ratus norvegicus). The experimental animals used are 20 male white rats with average weight 200 g were devided into four groups. P0 as control given a solution of CMC Na 0.5% without the mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa). P1, P2 and P3 were given extracts of pulp of the mahkota dewa with successive doses of plundering of 7.5 mg/200 grBB 15 mg/200 grBB and 30 mg/200 grBB respectively and given peroral l ml/head/day for 14 days. The research used Completely Randomized Design and analyzed by ANOVA ( Analisys of Variance ) then continued use duncan test with a significance 0.05. The results showed that the extract fruit the mahkota dewa gave significant impacted on capacitation and acrsome reaction white rat. P2 showed the highest mean with 30,00 ± 4,24 for capacitation and 5,60 ± 0,89 for acrosome reaction.
