Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate effect of Laserpuncture which combined bay leaves (Syzygium polyanthum) towards the final weight and the carcass percentage of male hybrid ducks. The design used in this research was the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three treatments, in which each treatment consisted of six replicates and at each replicate contained six male hybrid ducks which homogenous of age and weight. Those three treatments were: P0 (Contol), P1 (Laserpuncture), P2 (Laserpuncture+bay leaves). The data were analyzed by ANOVA and continued by Least Significant Difference (LSD). The results of this research showed the provision of bay leaves on hybrid ducks which treated with Laserpuncture (P2) give significant effect (P<0,05) compared with (P0) & (P1) on final weight and not significant effect (P>0,05) on carcass percentage of male hybrid ducks.
