Abstract

The aim of this research were to know the effect of substituting DDGS with synthetic lysine supplementation to feed consumption and conversion. This research used 40 quails breed Coturnix coturnix japonica at 12 weeks aged were randomized into four treatments, each treatment consisted of five replications and each replication consisted by two heads. The treatment were P0 = 0% DDGS and without lysine, P1 = 10% DDGS and 0,15 gram lysine, P2 = 20% DDGS and 0,30 gram lysine, and P3 = 30% DDGS and 0,45 gram lysine. The result of this research showed that it did not significantly different (p>0.05) for the feed consumption and not significantly different (p>0.05) for the feed convertion. It can be concluded that the substitution of 30% DDGS with the addition lysine 0.45 gram has the same feed consumption and same feed conversion with the commercial feed addition.
